Nought has no account, no server and no analytics.

Everything you enter into Nought stays on your iPhone. If you turn on iCloud sync, it also travels through your own iCloud account, which only you can reach. We do not collect it, we do not receive it, and we could not read it if we wanted to. There are no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no third-party code in the app.

If you turn on iCloud sync, your challenge data is stored in your personal iCloud account so your devices stay in step. That is a service between you and Apple, governed by Apple's own privacy policy. We have no access to your iCloud account and no visibility into what it holds. Turning sync off in the app's settings stops this.
Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple provides us with anonymised, aggregated sales and download figures, which cannot identify individual customers.
Nought is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. Since the app collects nothing at all, no such information could reach us in any case.
Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct, delete and export your personal data. Because Nought stores nothing on our systems, we hold no personal data about you to act on. You control your data directly and completely:

If the app ever starts collecting anything, we will update this page and say so clearly in the app before it happens. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
